Take a peek under the hood
We perform an annual penetration test (pentest). An external team of hackers will manually test our software on vulnerabilities. A pentest can be executed in two ways: black box and white box. Black box means that no information is provided to the hackers about possible weaknesses in the software. White box means that the software hackers will be given information about where you expect vulnerabilities. With a white box pentest you’re putting the software in a more vulnerable situation. Every year we hire an external company that performs a white box pentest on our software. The pentest focusses on categories mentioned in the NCSC- (National Cyber Security Centre) and OWASP- (Open Web Application Security Project) guidelines. Besides the yearly manual pentest, we perform an automated security test every quarter of the year.
